Salute to Summer is an unabashed “Star-Spangled” salute to great music, fun in the sun, and the military men and women who have sacrificed their lives throughout our history. Live, free entertainment on three outdoor stages features music presented by local and regional bands.

The 34th annual Pungo Strawberry Festival will take place Memorial Day weekend, May 26-28, in the fields surrounding 1776 Princess Anne Road near Indian River Road. The festival celebrates the agricultural heritage of Pungo and one of its most prized commodities: its delicious strawberries! It also pays homage to the region‟s many military service members and the sacrifices made by them and their families.
