Sandstock 2018
June 29 – July 1
Virginia Beach oceanfront

Sandstock is a beach-inspired variation on Woodstock. National and regional tribute bands cover songs from some of the greatest rockers in history.  Rockers will crank out hit after hit on two beach stages at the Virginia Beach oceanfront! All performances, which are free to the public, will be held on dueling stages on the beach at 24th Street, adjacent to the 24th Street Park.

Latin Fest

June 22- 23, 2018

Latin Fest features first-rate Latin music, good food, and more.  National performers electrify a diverse audience with high-energy tunes that move the crowd to dance under the stars. Local and regional Latin acts take the stage and unite festival-goers with the rhythms of Salsa, Merengue, and Jazz.  Headline performances take place on a giant stage on the beach at 24th Street.  The Zumba fitness marathon begins at 8:00am on Saturday.  Zumba is the Latin-inspired, easy-to-follow calorie-burning craze!  Meet some of the area’s best instructors.  Participate for one hour or all four!  Vendors and cultural activities in the park round out the festival.  Latin Fest is a FREE event.

MOCA Boardwalk Art Show & Festival

June 14 – June 17

275 artists from all over the U.S. and beyond present an eclectic range of fine arts and crafts. Join us for Virginia Beach’s longest running annual oceanfront event and one of the best outdoor fine art shows on the eastern seaboard! The show is nationally recognized from small beginnings in 1952 that to date attracts over 700 applications every year from artists around the country representing 13 fine art and contemporary craft mediums. 275 artists and 250,000 tourists and locals attend the show that spans nearly 15 blocks along the Atlantic Ocean at the Virginia Beach oceanfront from 18th Street to 35th Street. This beautiful atmosphere is the perfect backdrop for public displays of art, fine food, live entertainment and a great vacation.
